79-Year-Old Farmer Fatally Injured
SIMON H. RUPP OF WAUSEON, OHIO STRUCK BY CAR NEAR HOME
Archbold, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the West Clinton Mennonite Church on Oct. 19 for Simon H. Rupp, 79, who was fatally injured when struck by a car near his farm home.
The aged man was walking home after attending the Wednesday evening service at the West Clinton church when the fatal accident occurred. He was taken to the Wauseon hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Surviving are a daughter and two sons, all of this area; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister and three brothers.
