Business, Civic Leader Dies at Archbold Home

Archbold, Ohio. — Ora Rupp, 73, prominent in business and civic affairs here most of his life, died July 12 at the Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home where he had been a patient for six weeks. He had been in failing health for five years.

Mr. Rupp was an agent for Motorists Mutual Insurance Co. for 33 years. He was a member of the board of Mutual Security Life Insurance Co. at Fort Wayne from the beginning of the firm, was vice-president of the board of Sauder Woodworking Co. here for 29 years, and served on the Archbold Village Council for 10 years.

Survivors in the immediate family include his widow, Herma, and a son, Rev. Charles L. Rupp of Gridley, Ill.

Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, of which he was a member.
