HENRY E. RUPP

Henry E. Rupp was born in November 1892, at Westbrook, Minn., and passed away April 28, 1947, at the Devils Lake, No. Dak., hospital following a stroke suffered on April 21.

He was united in marriage in April, 1919, to Anna Quiring. This union was blessed with three sons, Gene, Donald, and Norbert.

The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Zion Lutheran church, where Mr. Rupp had been a member since 1942.

He served as village clerk for about 20 years, until his retirement two years ago. He had been secretary-treasurer of the Munich Farmers Livestock Shipping Association for 24 years and owner of the Rupp Elevator Co. He reached the age of 54 years, five months and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, three sons and two grandchildren.

Those who came from a distance for the funeral were George L. Quiring of Ladysmith, Wis., Mrs. John Quiring, Dallas, ore., and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Quiring of Fargo, North Dakota.
