Five-Year-Old Boy Dies Of Gunshot Wound
Archbold, Ohio. — An accidental gunshot wound inflicted while at play claimed the life of five-year-old Kenny Lynn Roth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin N. Roth of Route 2, Fayette.
The lad and six-year-old brother found the gun in a closet while playing in the house. They loaded it from a box of shells in a drawer, and a short time later Kenny sustained an abdominal wound. He died en route to the hospital.
Funeral services were held May 2 at the Central Mennonite Church near here.
Surviving in addition to the parents are four brothers, three sisters, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Aschliman of Archbold and Mr. and Mrs. John N. Roth of Stryker.
