DAN G. ROTH

Dan G. Roth, son of Nicolaus and Mary (Gardner) Roth, was born Jan. 31, 1881, at Noble, Iowa. He passed away following a short illness, at Albany, Ore. on March 4, 1965, aged 84 years, one month, and three days.

At the age of two he moved with his parents to Milford, Neb. In 1903 he married Susan Oswald of Beemer, Neb. She died on Aug. 1, 1950. After living in Milford they moved with their family to Creston, Mont. in 1914. Six years later, in 1920, they moved to Linn Co., Ore. where he continued to live until his death.

Early in life he accepted Christ as his Saviour. he was a member of the Fairview mennonite Church near albany.

Surviving are 10 children, Roy of Dayton, Ore., Menno of Rothsay, Ont., Jesse of Jefferson, Ore., Florence Oake of Junction City, Kan., Edna Kanagy of Fairbanks, Alaska, Perry and Leonard of Albany, Ore., Dan and Jake of Sweet Home, Ore., and Allan of Eugene, Ore.; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one brother Aaron Roth of Milford, Neb.
