C. E. ROTH OF WAYLAND WAS ACTIVE IN CHURCH, CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS

Wayland, Iowa. — Funeral services for Clarence E. Roth, 54, prominent farmer and civic leader of the Wayland community who died in a tractor accident, were held at the Wayland Mennonite Church on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 20. Rev. Omar Nisley and Rev. Vernon Gerig officiated.

Survivors include his widow, Mabel; two sons, Max of near Wayland and Wilbur of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Boyd Garret of near Wayland; his mother, Mrs. Lydia Roth, four brothers and one sister.
