ONTARIO FARMER DIES WHEN CAUGHT UNDER FROZEN SILAGE
Tavistock, Ontario. — Neighbors called to the farm of Alvin Roth near here after his wife reported him missing found the body of the 32-year-old farmer in the silo under about three feet of silage.
Roth had gone out to do the evening chores and apparently was working in the silo when a mass of silage frozen to the wall above him came loose, covering him up.
