Well-Known Wayne Co., Ohio Farmer Dies

Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for David Rohrer, 80, well-known potato grower near here and a lay worker in the Mennonite Church, were held Oct. 23 at the Smithville Mennonite Church. He died Oct. 21 aftr a long illness.

Mr. Rohrer had farmed a large acreage in Greene Township since his marriage to Emma Smucker in 1908. About ten years ago he was almost buried by shifting grain in a grain bin and severely injured. Both legs had to be amputated. However, he later had artificial legs fitted and again resumed his normal activities.

Surviving in addition to the widow are two daughters and one son and their families, and a sister, Mrs. Amos Mumaw of Orrville.
