LLOYD J. RODGERS

Lloyd J. Rodgers, 69, died May 9, 1993, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kan.

He was born April 1, 1924, at Newton, Kan., the son of Joseph and Helena Groneman Rodgers. A lifetime Hesston resident, he was a farmer. he was a member of the Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston.

On Dec. 24, 1945, he married Pearl Hershberger at Hesston. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Robert and Kenneth, both of Hesston; three daughters, Florence Schloneger of Chenoa, Ill., Bonnie Stauffer and Betty Boettger, both of Tofield, Alta.; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Eastlawn Cemetery near Hesston, with Ronald Guengerich presiding. A memorial service was held at the Whitestone Church, with Guengerich presiding.

Memorials may be sent to the Hesston College Pastoral Ministries Scholarship Fund.
