PETER RINKENBERGER

Peter Rinkenberger, son of Abraham and Sarah Rinkenberger, was born in Tazewell county, Ill., March 24, 1860. At the age of 21 he came to Bureau county, Ill. He was later married to Emma Albrecht and for fourscore years they had resided on the same farm in Bureau county.

On March 19, 1945, Mr. and Mrs. Rinkenberger celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary — a privilege enjoyed by comparatively few. They were the parents of two sons, Clarence and Herman Rinkenberger living in this vicinity, and one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Conrad of Los Angeles, Calif.

His invalid wife survives him, also five grandchildren, one sister living at Morton, Ill., and one brother of Washington, Ill.

His age was 85 years, 7 months 25 days. Funeral services were held on November 20 at the Willow Springs Mennonite church, of which congregation he was a member. Services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. A. Hartzler and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery
