— Funeral services of Mrs. Jacob A. Richert, widow of the late Jacob A. Richert, were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Mennonite church. Mrs. Richert died at her home at 408 Muse Ave., Saturday evening after an extended illness. She and her husband had moved to Newton several years ago when they retired from their farm at Burrton. Children surviving are Sister Dora Richert of the Bethel Deaconess Hospital; Miss Edna Richert of the home; Mrs. Leo Ewert and Mrs. Frank Balzer, Hillsboro; Mrs. G. L. Buland, Denver City, Texas; Mrs. John H. Gaeddert, Wichita; Mrs. T. B. Braun, Council Grove; Jacob F. Richert, Hutchinson, and John S. Richert, Burrton. Among the relatives who came a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Kliewer and family of Winfield.
