Businessman of Archbold, O. Died

Archbold, Ohio. — Funeral services for John H. Rich, 65, well known businessman of this community, took place on March 27 at the Central Mennonite church. He died March 25 at the Wauseon hospital after an illness of four weeks.

Mr. Rich came here 25 years ago from Arkansas and took over the Ford agency, which he operated in recent years with the assistance of his sons, Lester and Clarence. The firm celebrated its 25th anniversary on Feb. 24 of this year. He also operated food lockers here and at Ridgeville Corners and was vice-president of the People’s State Bank.

Besides the two sons, he is survived by his wife, Ellen; a daughter, Olive; and five grandchildren.
