Mrs. Helena Rempel, 91, died June 13 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. A native of McPherson County, she married Peter J. Rempel in 1904 and they settled on a farm northeast of Hillsboro. In 1914 they moved to the Inola, Okla. Community. Mr. Rempel died in 1935, and in 1937 Mrs. Rempel moved to Goessel. Survivors include a son, John, of Hillsboro; five daughters, Mrs. John Voth and Mrs. Frank Kroeker, both of Chouteau, Okla., Mrs. Albert Eck of Peabody, Mrs. Elmer Enns of Goessel, and Mrs. Roy Funk of Hillsboro; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Friday forenoon at the Alexanderwohl Church with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel in charge. The body was then taken to Inola for additional services and burial the same day.
