Funeral services for Dietrich "Duke" Rempel, 65, were held at the Gospel Church on Dec. 17. His first wife, Delora died in 1949. He had been employed by a trucking firm, and later by the city of Mt. Lake. He also operated a heavy construction business for a time. He is survived by his second wife, Beulah, one son, two daughters, two grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.
