text of obituary:

JOHN REIMER, JR.

John Reimer, Jr., was born Sept 2, 1899, near Beatrice, Neb. to Johannes and Magdalene Penner Reimer. After completing his grade school education he attended the local church Bible school.

He was baptized upon confession of his faith in Christ as his Saviour and Lord on Pentecost, in May 1918. He was received into the membership of the First Mennonite Church of Beatrice where he retained his membership until his death.

On June 17, 1926, he was united in Christian marriage with Ella M. Reimer. Their home was always one to which nephews and nieces enjoyed coming, drawn by their love for both Aunt Ella and Uncle John.

They made their home on the farm. He loved his farm work sincerely, enjoying especially to watch the God-created animals grow and develop.

He died suddenly on May 2, 1957, at the age of 57 years as a result of a tractor accident. His life was one in which he was blessed of God and in which he was a blessing to many others.

He is survived by his wife, Ella; by one sister Magdalene (Mrs. John W. Zimmerman) and one brother, Frank, both of Beatrice; and many relatives and friends.
