On Nov. 26, 1911 he joined hands in holy matrimony with Sara Bergman in the Corn M. B. Church. This union lasted 57 years and three months. They resided on a farm west of Corn until they retired in 1953. He was a farmer and a good provider for his family. The Lord blessed this union with one son and eight daughters.
