MRS. AGATHA [sic AGATHE] REIMER

Mrs. Agathe Reimer, nee Penner, daughter of Heinrich and Marie, nee Penner, Penner, was born on April 24, 1874 at Warnav [sic Warnau], West Prussia, Germany. She received her education in a village school in Germany. On Pentecost in 1890 she was baptized upon her confession of faith by her father.

In 1891 following the death of her father she came to America with her mother, brothers and sister, and they settled in Nebraska.

She was married to Bernhard Reimer on December 5, 1895, after which they made their home on a farm. Seven children, four sons and three daughters, were born into this home. Her husband died on January 19, 1920. Her mother made her home with the family from 1902 until her passing in 1928.

In December of 1944 she moved to Beatrice with her oldest daughter, where she resided until her death. After a lingering Illness she passed away at her home on Monday evening, June 5.

She reached the age of 76 years, one month, and 12 days, and is survived by four sons, three daughters, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, one brother, and many relatives and friends.
