Aged Husband, Wife Die One Day Apart
Ephrata, Pa. — A double funeral was held at the Groffdale Mennonite Church on Jan. 22 for Mr. and Mrs. Elam Reiff of rural Leola, who died just one day apart.
Mrs. Reiff died at the home on Jan. 19, and her husband died at Lancaster General Hospital on Jan. 20.
Their survivors include seven sons, four daughters, 111 grandchildren and 119 great-grandchildren. The couple, 86 and 85 years of age, had been married 65 years.
