OHIO YOUTH DROWNS IN LAKE AT MICHIGAN CHURCH CAMP

Pandora, Ohio. — Funeral services for Roger Dean Reichenbach, 16, who drowned in Shavehead Lake at Camp Friedenswald, Michigan, on June 13, were held at the First Mennonite church of Bluffton Tuesday, June 16. Rev. Alvin Beachy, the pastor, officiated.

The youth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Reichenbach of the Bluffton community, had gone to the camp to work with other young people in the erection of the new dining hall. The group went swimming at noon, and Roger was missed upon their return to the camp. The body was recovered about three hours later in 12 feet of water.

Surviving are the parents; two sisters, Esther of the home, and Mrs. Eugene Kohli of Findlay; and two brothers, Verle of Beaverdam and Paul of Bluffton.
