MOUNDRIDGE, KANSAS BUSINESSMAN TAKEN BY DEATH

Moundridge, Kansas. — Funeral services were held at the West Zion Mennonite church on Tuesday, Dec. 21, for Walter P. Regier, a lifelong resident of this community and prominent for many years in business and civic activities. He passed away suddenly on Sunday morning at the Halstead hospital after a two years’ illness, and was 47 years of age.

Mr. Regier was traffic manager at the Moundridge Mill for 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Cora Dyck Regier, a member of the Halstead clinic; two daughters, Betty at home and Mrs. Ethel Combs of Tulsa, Okla.; and a son, William, at home.
