— The whole Newton neighborhood was shocked last Thursday when the news spread that W. W. Regier of the Regier Loan & Abstract Co. had passed away at the Axtell Hospital. Mr. Regier became ill from heart attack during the preceding night and death followed about the middle of the afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church, where he was a member since 1915, transferring from the First Mennonite church. He is survived by his wife and two children, Millie and William; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Suderman and Miss Johanna Regier; and three brothers, J. E. Regier and G. P. Regier of Newton, and Dr. H. L. Regier of Kansas City.
