HEAD-ON COLLISION CLAIMS LIFE OF OKLAHOMA MAN

Corn, Okla. — Smoke on the highway from a nearby grass fire is reported as the cause of a head-on collision between a car and a milk truck near Perryton, Texas the morning of Oct. 29. Pete Regier of Hooker, Okla., driver of the car, was instantly killed and his wife and daughter, Viola, suffered serious injuries.

Funeral services for Mr. Regier were held at Hooker on Nov. 2.

The family was en route home after attending a wedding here when the tragedy occurred. Mrs. Regier had a broken hip and leg injuries and her daughter suffered a fractured hip and fractured jaw bone.
