JUDY DIANE REGIER

Judy Diana, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus H. Regier, Jr., was born November 2, 1941, and after a brief illness she left us suddenly to be with Jesus at 5:10 on Sunday morning, April 8, 1945, reaching the age of three years, five months and six days.

She brought much happiness and sunshine to us and everyone who knew her.

During her short stay upon this earth it seemed as if she had more than her share of suffering. She suffered bravely and willingly, and carried her cross with a smile.

In childlike faith she was looking into the future, when she told her little brother how some day they would play and go to church together.

When we recall the incidents of her last week we know the Lord was preparing her for her heavenly home.

The day before her passing she brought her little chorus book and as she sat beside her mother she asked her to sing the familiar choruses to her. She loved to sing the one, "I have the Joy, Joy, Joy, Joy, down in my heart," Now for her that joy is complete. She was also asked whom she loved and she answered, "Jesus, Leslie, Mommy and Daddy." Her love for us we'll ne'er forget.

She leaves to mourn her early departure, her grief stricken parents, one brother, Leslie, her grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends.

Oh, yes we'll miss her dearly,
Our precious little jewel, the blessed gift of God.
Judy! Judy! We called to her in agony,
Her tiny body tired, limp and eyelids closed,
She answered not, for she had gone to be with Jesus.

Services were held at the house with Rev. H. J. Dyck in charge at 2:00 P. M. Then in the Emmaus church services were held at 2:30 P. M. with Rev. J. C. Kauffman in charge. The Smith Mortuary of Whitewater had the funeral. — The Bereaved Parents.
