3 YEAR OLD RUN OVER BY TRUCK, FATALLY INJURED
New Providence, Pa. — Tragedy struck the home of Harold and Elsie Redcay here on April 4 when their three-year-old son, Donald, was instantly killed by a truck in the driveway of their home.
Lester Zimmerman of Intercourse, driver of the feed delivery truck, talked to the child just before the accident and then backed up, thinking the boy had gone into the house. Instead, he was behind the truck playing.
Funeral services were held at the New Providence Mennonite church on April 7. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth and Harold, Jr.
