MRS. ELIZABETH BARKMAN RATZLAFF
Elizabeth Barkman was born on Dec. 31, 1870, in Russia, the daughter of John and Katharina Barkman. In 1878 her parents moved to Jansen, Neb.
She was married to Henry J. Ratzlaff in 1889, who preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1948. She was baptized on confession of faith in June 1889 and joined the church, of which she has been a constant member.
In 1906 the family moved to Canada and in 1948 when father died she moved and made her home in Oregon.
On Thursday afternoon, Oct. 25, she peacefully went to be with the Lord at the Dallas Rest home in Dallas, Oregon.
She leaves to mourn her departure five sons, five daughters-in-law, six daughters and four sons-in-law (two preceded her in death), 43 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren.
