Pastor of Arkansas Church Called by Death

Buhler, Kan. — Eldo Ratzlaff, 56, pastor of the Mennonite Brethren church at Siloam Springs, Ark., died there on April 7, about a week after suffering a recurrence of a heart ailment. He suffered a heart attack in 1961, but apparently had made a good recovery.

A native of the Buhler community, he had served as pastor of M. B. congregations at Joes, Colo., Marion, S. D., and Burlington, Colo. before going to Siloam Springs in 1962. He was a graduate of Tabor College and also attended the Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, S. D. while serving the Silver Lake church near Marion.

Rev. Ratzlaff was well-known as a song leader and instrumentalist at youth meetings and other conferences.

Funeral services were held April 9 at Siloam Springs, after which the body was returned here for final services at the Buhler M. B. Church. Burial was made in the Buhler cemetery.
