1973 Hesston Nursing Graduate Killed

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for Stella Charlene Ramer, R. N., who was killed in a one-car auto accident near La Junta, Colo. on March 27, were held at the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church near here Sunday afternoon, March 30. Rev Harry Schrock officiated.

Miss Ramer, who was 27, was a 1973 nursing graduate of Hesston College in Kansas. She was employed in the Mennonite nursing home at La Junta and was on sick leave at the time of the accident.

She was born in Wakarusa to Edwin and Amanda (Bontrager) Ramer. Surviving in addition to the parents are five brothers, Jerry of Wakarusa, Eldon of Elkhart, Lester of Gravett, Ark., and Ronald and Seven of Denver; two sisters, Marjorie at home and Mrs. David Panyko of Muncie, Ind.; and a grandmother, Mrs. Tobias Bontrager of New Paris.
