OPERATOR OF HARNESS SHOP KILLED WHEN CAR HITS BRIDGE

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Funeral services were held at the Levi J. Raber home May 7 for the Rabers’ son, John L. Raber, 21, who was instantly killed in an auto accident southwest of Millersburg the night of May 4. Preachers Nathaniel J. Miller, Abe J. Hochstetler, and David Troyer were the officiating ministers.

Young Raber, who operated the Berlin Harness Shop, was a passenger in a car driven by Leroy D. Troyer, 23, when it crashed into a cement bridge abutment. Troyer, son of Dan N. Troyers, was reported to be in critical condition at the Millersburg hospital.

The Raber youth is survived by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
