MRS. ELIZABETH RABER

Mrs. Elizabeth Gilliom Raber was born at Berne, Ind. on July 27, 1855, and died at the home of her son, Dan Raber, northeast of Versailles, Mo. on April 16, 1948.

Funeral services were held April 19. At the home, C. B. Driver conducted the rites. At Mt. Zion church, Rev. E. A. Albrecht, pastor of the Bethel Mennonite church of which she was a member, was in charge, and graveside services were conducted by Rev. LeRoy Gingerich, pastor of the Mt. Zion church. Burial was made in Mt. Zion cemetery beside her husband, who preceded her 12 years ago.

Pall bearers were Mrs. Raber’s great-grandsons, and her great-ganddaughters [sic] served as flower girls.

The Raber family moved to Morgan county, Mo. from Hickory county Mo., in 1908.

Mrs. Raber is survived by a son, Dan Raber, and three daughters, Mrs. Mose Deiner, Mrs. Jake Ramer of Versailles, and Mrs. C. W. Rushley of Garden City. In addition, 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Sarah Soldner of Berne, Ind., and a brother, Daniel Gilliom of Portland, Ind., survive.

Rushley, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rushley and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Rushley and family; Lydia Driver, Joe Roth, Mrs. Frank Yoder, Mr. and Mrs. Miller, Dave Schrock and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schrock, and Mrs. Elby Yoder, all of Garden City; Mr. and Mrs. S. Paul Miller, missionaries to India; Lawrence Rushley and daughter of Kansas City.

Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Suter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Inebnit and family, and Miss Esther Deiner of Goshen, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Burkholder and sons of Bristol, Ind; D. B. Gilliom, Sam Raber, Mrs. Joe Raber and daughter, Mrs. James Farmsworth, and James Krockberger of Holden, Mo; Jonas Dettwiler, Mrs. Roy Baumgartner and daughter of Dakota, Ill; Cliffton Gilliom, Mrs. A. A. Lehman. Mrs. Will Rawley, Mrs. Delia Neuhauser and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Liechty of Berne, Ind.
