CLARA S. RABER

Clara S. Raber, 96, of Goshen, Ind., died Jan. 22, 2001, at Greencroft Terraces. She was born Nov. 18, 1904, in Concord, Tenn., to William and Ann (Good) Jennings. On May 4, 1926, she married Frank B. Raber in Knoxville, Tenn. He died May 15, 1964.

In addition to working as a Mennonite minister's wife, she was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of College Mennonite Church in Goshen and worked for Mennonite Board of Missions for 25 years in Detroit and Kansas City.

Surviving are a daughter, Ann Raber of Fort Wayne; two sons, Chester of Lancaster, Pa., and Merrill F., of Newton, Kan.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Brunk of Sarasota, Fla.; and two brothers, john Jennings of Goshen and Joe Jennings of California.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Gerig, Ada Wade and Lina Swope; and four brothers, Henry, Ethan, Ervin and William.

Services were held at College Mennonite Church. Burial was in Manasota Memorial Park, Oneca, Fla.
