— One of the old settlers of Mt. Lake, Minn., Mrs. Peter Quiring, died there on Jan. 14, at the age of 84 years. Mrs. Quiring came to America from Russia in her youth at the time of the large Mennonite immigration. Funeral services were held at the Bergfelder church, conducted by ministers H. H. Quiring, A. A. Wiebe and John Bartel.
