● Mrs. Marie R. Quiring, 87, died Sunday at the Bethel Home for Aged. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Peterson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Griffin, hospital chaplain, officiating. Burial was made in the Alexanderwohl Cemetery near Goessel. Mrs. Quiring, the former Marie Ratzlaff, married Jacob Quiring at Goessel in 1907. He died in 1955. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Hunter of Newton; two sons, Harvey W. of Richmond Heights, Mo. and Orville of Newton; a brother, John Ratzlaff of Goessel; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
