SMALL CHILD FATALLY INJURED WHEN RUN OVER BY BACKING CAR
Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G. B. Huebert at the M. B. church here on April 29 for Karen Kathleen Quiring, 16-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Quiring who was fatally injured when run over by a neighbor’s car on Sunday evening, April 27.
The child apparently ran into the path of the car as it was being backed out of a driveway. The driver stopped immediately and took her to the Quiring home. Mr. Quiring rushed the child to the hospital, but she lived only about an hour.
