LOUISE PICARD-MAILLE

Louise Picard-Maille of the MB church in StDonat, Que. passed away Dec. 2 due to complications following minor surgery. She was born in 1933. For several years she and her husband operated a restaurant in the Laurentians. When her husband died in 1982, she accepted the gospel due to the witness of her daughter Helene and son-in-law Serge Giguere of the MB church in St-Donat, Que. She became known as a persevering woman who made the Lord her faithful companion. She was particularly fond of reading the Psalms and Proverbs morning and evening. She loved to depend on the promises of God. She is remembered as a generous woman, ready to give the little that she had. Predeceased by her husband, she is mourned by her children Claudette Filion, Helene Giguere and Sylvain; and 4 grandchildren. The funeral was in the Alliance church in Ste-Agathe, where she had been a member during the first years of her Christian life. Pastors Alain Hack, Michel Gagnon and Andre Bourque ministered at the funeral.
