OLDEST M. B. MINISTER DIES IN MANITOBA AT AGE NINETY-NINE

Winnipeg, Manitoba. — Funeral services for Rev. A. B. Peters, believed to be the oldest Mennonite Brethren minister, were held at the Elmwood M. B. Church in Winnipeg on May 20. He was 99.

Rev. Peters' wife died in Russia in 1923 and the following year he came to Canada with his six children, five of whom survive him. He died May 17 at the home of a son, Jacob Peters, in Oakville.
