— At the Bergfeld Mennonite church near Horndean, Man., several weeks ago funeral services were held for Jacob P. Penner, whose death was due to injuries involved in a highway accident in Ontario. On the way to work Mr. Penner had stopped on the road because of an overheated motor, and was standing in front of the radiator when his car was struck by a passing motorist and he was seriously injured. A heavy fog was given as the cause of the accident. The body was sent to Mr. Penner's former home in Manitoba for burial.
