— Funeral services for 12 year old Elizabeth Ann Penner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry E. Penner of Longton, Kansas, who was killed by lightning on the way home from school, were held Sunday afternoon, October 9, at Longton. Among those from Whitewater who attended the sad occasion were Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Regier, Mr. and Mrs. B. P. Regier, Otto and Marie Penner and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Quenzer.
