SARA A. PAULS

Sara A. Pauls was a lifelong resident of the Inman, Kan., community. She died at her home May 16, 1985, at the age of 86.

She worked at the Baker Hotel and at the Pleasant View Home kitchen. Her three sister [sic], with whom she lived, remember her cooking and baking at home as long as her health would permit.

She was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church. She was baptized upon confession of faith May 13, 1917 by Elder Klass Kroeker.

She enjoyed the open house in their home which was a continued response to friends and relatives after the death of the parents.

She accepted her illness without complaint. She was especially grateful that she could stay at home and receive loving care from her family.

She is survived by her sisters, Justina Eva and Martha Pauls and Anna Penner of the home, and Marie Pauls of Newton; four brothers and their wives, George and Sarah Pauls, Frank and Agnes Pauls, Jake and Justina Pauls and John and Hilda Pauls, all of Inman. Preceding her in death were one brother, one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.
