ARON PAULS

Aron Pauls of Domain, Man., passed away on June 28. He was born on March 24, 1909, in Wiesenfeld, southern Russia. In 1925 his family immigrated to Canada, settling near LaSalle, Man. As a young man he found peace with God and was baptized in the LaSalle Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1944 he was married to Mary Janzen and took up farming near Domain, Man. The young couple became active members of the Domain Mennonite Brethren Church, and Aron serves as treasurer for more than 15 years.

He is remembered by his family for his strong faith, and for his patience during his four years of suffering from a stroke. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Mary; his daughter Linda and her husband Bill Oakley; his son John and wife Anna; brother John; sister Maria Duerksen; and one grand daughter, Barbara Jane. The funeral was conducted in the Fort Gary MB Church in Winnipeg, with John J. Neufeld of Domain officiating.
