Mrs. Jacob T. Pauls.

Mrs. Anna Pauls, daughter of John Regehr, died Nov. 12 at her home in Hesston, Kansas, at the age of 37 years, 5 months and 12 days.

— In the year of 1908 Mrs. Pauls was converted and baptized by Elder Heinrich Toews, she united with the Bethel Mennonite Church near Inman, Kansas, where she was a faithful member until death.

She was united in marriage to John [sic Jacob] T. Pauls on Dec. 13, 1912.

To this union seven children were born, three of which have passed away.

Some years ago Mrs. Pauls suffered a nervous breakdown. In July 1927 she was found to be afflicted with cancer of the breast from which she suffered greatly. She took treatments which gave her only temporary relief.

She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, four children, father, three brothers, six sisters, parents-in-law and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Zoar Church November 15, at 2:00 P. M. Rev. Klaas Kroeker officiated and was assisted by Revs. John Esau, Jacob Pauls, father-in-law, and P. T. Neufeld. The Bethel choir rendered a number of musical selections. In the forenoon short services were helda t Hesston. Rev. A. P. Neufeld read scripture and led in prayer at the cemetery, where the remains were laid to rest one mile south of Inman. — Inman Review.
