Former Missionary To China Died

MRS. C. L. PANNABECKER PASSED AWAY SUNDAY AT PEORIA, ILLINOIS

Mrs. C. L. Pannabecker, former missionary of the General Conference Mennonite Church in China, died Sunday at Peoria, Ill., according to word received at the conference headquarters in Newton.

Mrs. Pannabecker, the former Lelia Roth, and her husband were stationed at K'ai Chow in Hopei, China, from 1926 to 1941. Dr. Pannabecker served as superintendent of the K'ai Chow Hospital during that time.

Surviving are the husband and four children, Betty Jean, student at Mennonite Biblical Seminary; Anita, Mrs. Stanley Bohn, of Bluffton, O.; Donald, student at Bluffton College; and Daniel at home.
