Viola May Pankratz

Viola May Pankratz, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Pankratz of near Vona, Colo., was born Feb. 25, 1928, died Nov. 27, 1929, aged 1 year 9 months and 2 days.

Viola May took sick in October but rallied enough so we thoguth she was getting well. The 15. of Nov. she took sick again. The doctor was called and consulted, but she seemed to grow weaker. All that loving hands could do would not make her well and on the night of Nov. 26 she grew worse and after midnight at one-thirty she departed. Her sickness was pleurisy. We have the assurances that this little blossom is transplanted into heaven. She gave evidence before she went of going there little as she was she pointed upward and said "There." With a smile she was gone.

Viola May leaves, father, mother, one brother, Orval Ray, two grandfathers, one grandmother, uncles, aunts, and a host of friends to mourn her loss.

Rev. P. H. Unruh of Goessel, Kan., officiated at the funeral which was held on Nov. 29 at the Mennonite church at 3:00 P. M. We mourn not without hope. — Contributed.
