MRS. JUSTINA PANKRATZ

Justina Pankratz (nee Isaac) was born in Kleefeld, Molotschna colony in South Russia, on April 10, 1896. She was married to Heinrich Pankratz on November 8, 1919. In 1969 they were privileged to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage.

By the grace of God she accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptized upon her faith in 1916 and received into the fellowship of the church.

Her life consisted of much hard work, conflicts and worries, but the Lord gave the courage and strength. She prayed and sacrificed much for their seven children.

Many blessings were hers through fellowship in the local church. She particularly enjoyed mid-week Bible studies and the Sunday worship services.

She is survived by her husband Heinrich Pankratz, three sons and their families : Henry and Tina of Vineland, Ont., Vernon and Florence of Steinbach, Man., Helmuth and Delores of Steinbach; four daughters and their families: Anne (Mrs. Bill) Enns, Hilda (Mrs. Henry) Wiebe, Elvira (Mrs. Peter) Enns, Lydia (Mrs. Glenn) Wiens, as well as 16 grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. Faik and Rev. H. Regehr from the Steinbach MB Church.
