MISSIONARY IN INDIA CALLED AWAY THROUGH DEATH ON JANUARY 25

Hillsboro, Kansas. — Mrs. P. P. Adrian received word Sunday of the dath of her sister, Mrs. J. H. Pankratz, wife of Rev. J. H.Pankratz, who are missionaries in Hugetown, Hyderabad, Deccan, India. Mrs. Pankratz passed away January 25.

Rev. and Mrs. Pankratz were of the first missionaries of the M. B. conference to start a mission in India, first going to India in 1902. Since that time they devoted their life entirely to that work with the exception of about ten years, which time they spent in America.

They left for India two years prior to Mrs. Pankratz's death. — Hillsboro Star.

— According to a recent report, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Schneider of Buhler, Kansas, have received a telegram from India stating that Mrs. J. H. Pankratz, a missionary in India with her husband, has passed away. Memorial services for Mrs. Pankratz were to be held in the Mennonite Brethren church in Buhler.
