Old Settler is Laid To Rest At Mt. Lake, Minnesota.

Mt. Lake, Minn., April 23. — Benjamin Pankratz, one of the oldest residents of the Mountain Lake community was buried from the Bethel church Wednesday afternoon. His death occurred Sunday evening after a year's lingering illness. He reached the age of 91 years, 5 months.

The Rev. John Bartel was in charge of the services, assisted by the Rev. J. J. Balzer, who spoke in German. The music was furnished by a male quartet, P. J. Voth, J. J. Voth, Wm. H. Regier and d. H. Fast accompanied by the organist, D. G. Hiebert.

Death came to him Sunday, April 19, 1936, at 5:30 p. m. at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 10 days. he was the youngest of his brothers and sisters, and lived to the oldest age. His life had spanned almost a century and it has been perhaps one of the most interesting ages. — Mt. Lake Observer.
