MARY SCHROCK OSWALD

Maary Schrock Oswald was born Sept 27, 1910, near Walnut Creek, Ohio, to Nathan and Masa Hershberger Schrock. She died on April 223, 1985, at Dover (Ohio) Union Hospital after a lengthy illness.

On March 14, 1936, she was married to Atlee W. Oswald. Together they operated the Farmerstown Chick Hatchery near Baltic, Ohio, for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie (Mrs. Robert D.) Miller of Canton, Ohio; a son, Ted of Baltic, Ohio; four grandchildren; four sisters, Kathryn Schrock of Long Beach, Calif., Esther (Mrs. Weldon) Gerber of Millersburg, Ohio, Dorothy (Mrs. Ben) Beachy of Fresno, Ohio, and Anna Jean (Mrs. Abe) Troyer of Walnut Creek, Ohio; four brothers, Robert of Fort Charlotte, Fla., and Paul, Howard and Nolan, all of Walnut Creek, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband on April 18, 1980, a sister, Betty (Mrs. Sam) Bontreger, and two brothers, Ferman and Nelson.

She was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on April 26, 1985, in charge of Alvin Kanagy. Interment was in the church cemetery.
