Funeral services were held July 11 at the MB Church, Lustre, for D. M. Olfert, 93, longtime resident of this area. Born at Mt. Lake, Minn., he married Katharine Franz in 1915. They homesteaded in the Lustre area and lived here more than 40 years, moving to Wolf Point in 1957.
Survivors include one son, Elvin, of Frazer; three daughters, Ethel (Mrs. Frank) Wiens of Mt. Lake, Marilyn (Mrs. Floyd) Berg of Wheatridge, Colo., and Linda (Mrs. Edwin) Berg of Garden City; one brother, four sisters, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Jeff Beazley and Frank Wiens officiated at the service. Burial was at the MB cemetery, Lustre.
