Services held at Berne For Farmer, Contractor

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Wilbert Nussbaum, 73, retired farmer and contractor, were held Jan. 19 at the First Mennonite Church here. Death came on Jan. 17 after several years of failing health.

In addition to his farming and business interests, Mr. Nussbaum at one time served as a trustee of the Adams County Memorial Hospital in Decatur, where he passed away, and worked as an appraiser and deputy assessor. He was a former director of the Berne Lumber Company, Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Lila, two sons, three daughters, one brother and four sisters, all of the Berne community, as well as 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
