text of obituary:

Mrs. Jacob Nussbaum

Anna, Mrs. Jacob Nussbaum, born December 29, 1866, in Canton Berne, Switzerland, and at the age of eight years emigrated to Sonnenberg, Ohio, with her parents, Abr. Neuenschwander; later they settled permanently in Adams county, Ind.

At the age of fifteen she was admitted into the Mennonite church there, continuing her affiliation with that denomination to her end. On August 6, 1887, she was united for life with Jacob Nussbaum. She became mother to seventeen children; six of them preceded her in death.

Surviving and mourning for a kind wife, loving mother and grandmother are her sorrowing husband, six sons and five daughters. There are also 25 grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.

Her death came suddenly and unexpectedly, so that most of her children could not reach her bedside until she passed away. The family have the sympathy of the community, which also feels keenly the l9ss of one who had endeared herself to them during the twenty-six years they have lived here. Funeral at the Sonnenberg church. — Dalton (Ohio) Gazette.
