FATHER OF SIX CHILDREN FATALLY INJURED AS RESULT OF TIRE BLOWOUT

Archbold, Ohio. — A large group of relatives and friends attended funeral services at the Central Mennonite church here on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 21, for Vernon Ray Nofziger, 32, who was instantly killed Monday evening when his car went into a ditch as a result of a tire blow out. He was returning alone to his home northwest of Wauseon after the day’s work in an Archbold factory.

Survivors include his wife, Lena, and six children between the ages of 13 and four; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Nofziger, four sisters and three brothers.
